2 Corinthians 12:7-10 - To keep me from becoming conceited because of these surpassingly great revelations, there was given me a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me. Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses so that Christ's power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

I am delighted to share with you that God has given me the honor of starting a Chronic Illness Ministry for Women. I feel extremely humbled and undeserving, and of course I am so excited about this new opportunity!
The Chronic Illness community can join together and pray for
physical healing - because our Savior can raise the dead! But what if you
haven't experienced that physical healing? We can continue to pray for that
healing, but God also desires for us to know and be at peace with the fact that
we can find spiritual healing through Him, despite our current health
situations. Sometimes God has a grand design that is different than we
imagined, and that may include a journey of illness (whether it be arthritis,
fibromyalgia or cancer). There is hope, because our God is still HEALER - the
healer of our hearts.
I am still in the process of doing groundwork (research,
PowerPoint, etc.) and seeking God in prayer for finding a Christian
organization or church to partner with. Please join me in prayer over these
things. Did I mention I'm excited?!
1 Peter 1:6 - 9 - In this you greatly rejoice, though now
for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials.
These have come so that your faith - of greater worth than gold, which perishes
even though refined by fire - may be proved genuine and may result in praise,
glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed. Though you have not seen him,
you love him, and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and
are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy; for you are receiving the
goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
